Every day I am inspired by the power of architecture to evoke feelings, from the warm comfort of home to the awe of a gothic cathedral. Knowing that design has the capacity to influence our landscape, lives and culture is what motivates me in this field.
My architectural education has allowed me to further my design potential through new software, research and imagination. I am constantly intrigued by new ways of thinking about design, such as the iterative process of parametric modelling or adopting theoretical lenses that challenge our preconceived notions.
As an architecture graduate I hope to use the skills that I have learnt to create spaces that spark joy and intrigue. I believe my design work reveals that spaces can be pragmatic without losing their evocative quality.
I still have a lot to learn and I’m excited to gain experience and grow through collaboration and experimentation as I enter the professional field.
