ReUnion explores novel energy generation within the context of a workers’ union. It acts as a 21st century counterpart to the Plumbers and Gasfitters Union building by Graeme Gunn as a home for the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia. The building uses a sludge to energy system incorporating public toilets adjacent to University Square to power the site, with vibration energy technology incorporated into noise dampening ceilings.
